Jeff is the President and founder of J.Krug & Associates, located in Mount Prospect, Illinois. As a long-term client of Polestar and a member to the advisory board, Jeff's expertise in creating and maintaining unsurpassed client risk management programs at both the commercial and personal lines segments of the market have set a new standard of service excellence that has added greatly to our programs and services. As a member of the Polestar Board, Jeff represents our growing circle of influence in the Midwest. As a coach and facilitator in our Producer Development Programs, Jeff has generously passed on his proven strategies and relationship management practices to those lucky enough to fall under his tutelage.
Jeff is a 1974 Graduate of Mount Prospect High School and a 1978 Graduate of Northern Illinois University with a BS in Finance and Minor in Accounting. Jeff started his insurance career as a corporate trainee with The Aetna Insurance Company where he trained for one year in all areas of insurance as was assigned to the Commercial Multi Peril Department. In October of 1979 Jeff joined Conkling, Price and Webb Inc. as a personal lines underwriter and then a commercial lines underwriter and eventually led to a career in sales. On October 1, 1982 Jeff and his father Robert left Conkling Price and Webb to begin their own firm which is now know as J. Krug and Associates, Inc. Jeff has a broad background all in area's of insurance including self insured health programs, and his current focus is on designing Risk Management and Insurance Programs for middle market property and liability accounts.
Outside interests include being an avid golfer and spending quality time with family which usually includes golf.
Jeff and his wife Lorraine live in Hawthorn Woods, Illinois with their three sons Thomas, Taylor and Trace.
