I have had the best week ever this week and I have to thank you for it. Before starting our class most of my book was in personal lines, even though I was focusing on commercial, I only had 2 commercial accounts. Well this week I closed on 3 commercial accounts, and possibly a fourth tomorrow. One of them was a restaurant that I had been working on since February. I felt as if I had hit a brick wall and was not going to get the account as of the end of March. After our first class I changed my strategy a little bit, and came at them from a different angle. I met with them again on May 4 th and really pushed the value added service plan and presented them with a detailed map of what services I was going to give to them. I just got off of the phone with the owner and they decided that they are going to accept my proposal and are going to close tomorrow. I am writing them with Hartford , I used many of their accident prevention materials from their web site to coincide with my VAS plan. I am so excited and I had to share it with someone.
