Cathi Marx is Vice President of Risk Management Services for Aspen Risk Management Group (Aspen RMG), an employee-owned consulting company providing business improvement strategies to commercial, government, and non-profit organizations.

She has been in the insurance industry for over 25 years employed by insurance carrier and broker organizations and as a risk manager and environmental health & safety manager for private industry. She joined the Polestar team in 2006.

Cathi was in involved in creating and implementing insurance contract and sales training programs for captive life insurance agents, who wished to broaden their portfolios to include personal lines insurance. Her role included that of trainer, educator and mentor.

Currently she is an active partner working with a San Diego non-profit organization as their Certified Occupational Safety Specialist training instructor. This class provides a solid foundation of combined regulatory and safety management skills to new safety professionals.

She has a long history of working with clients and brokers to minimize loss exposure for their clients, protecting employees from workplace injury and providing strategic improvement plans to senior management.

Cathi is a long time member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, and has participated in numerous organizations that support workplace safety. She is a former Reservist in the United States Coast Guard, has an Associate in Loss Control Management (ALCM) and lives in San Diego , CA .
