Mike Murrah is President of BCG Insurance Services, and is a Managing Consultant with Aspen Risk Management Group (Aspen RMG). Aspen RMG is an employee-owned consulting company providing business improvement strategies to commercial, government, and non-profit organizations.
Mike has been in the insurance industry for thirty-six years. During his career, he has been an employee of large national insurance carriers and national insurance brokerages, sales manager for a local brokerage, as well as owning his own insurance brokerage and consulting firm.
As a consultant and broker, Mike works with commercial clients in various industries to assist them in meeting the goals and objectives of their insurance programs. In addition to providing consulting services to the clients' top management personnel and mid-level managers, Mike provides hands-on insurance and safety training, and assistance to supervisors and employees of those clients.
Mike has taught numerous courses in insurance education, including many courses for Insurance Ed ucational Association (IEA). In addition, Mike has provided one-on-one coaching, training and mentoring to many people in the insurance industry. This training, coaching and mentoring has helped those individuals become successful insurance producers and consultants. He knows that knowledge is a key ingredient of success in any industry and that it is vitally important to continue to be a student of the industry.
Mike is a licensed agent, and lives in San Diego , CA.
