forefront of the Insurance Industry’s producer training
and agency development programs in 2006 with the announcement
of their program schedule for the coming year.
The 2006 tour includes eighteen programs in
sixteen cities around the country, beginning in Cleveland,
Ohio on February 6, and moving to San Francisco, Philadelphia,
and Lansing in March.
In her announcement, Polestar President Helen
K. Kasper stated that “ . . . the Cleveland and San
Francisco Programs are particularly special for us this year
because they are the product of participant demand for our
one-of-a-kind program and do not result from deliberate planning
on our part. This confirms for us that our influence and impact
is growing more rapidly than we originally envisioned.”
Kasper went on to note that “in response
to the requests of our alumni from prior programs we are pleased
to add an advanced alumni program titled “Above The
Rest” in Atlantic City, New Jersey this June. We are
also adding a first-ever CSR & Account Manager Development
Program titled “Beyond Expectations” scheduled
in Chicago on May 10, 11, and 12.”
When asked to explain why the programs are so
popular this year, Kasper said “The addition of special
sessions for new producers, concentrated roundtables, personalized
one-on-one coaching, and online support enables each participant
to direct and focus their time and attention on their individual
developmental needs. This customized approach, combined with
direct coaching and mentoring from industry experts, seems
to be the perfect blend of tools and resources for our participants.
We have shed the standardized, classic training model in favor
of a participant designed program. In so doing, we replace
the classroom with the real world.”
