Polestar Expands Producer Development
School to Philadelphia.
Polestar President Scott Primiano announced today that Polestar will once again expand the number of Producer Schools offered to agents in 2005. The latest addition will take place at the Union League in Philadelphia and is scheduled to begin on September 28. As is the case with all of our Producer Development Programs, the school is open to all interested producers from every line of business. However, this school will be preceded by an invitation only "Principles Round Table" that is scheduled for September 26-27 and will also be held at the Union League. All in all, it is going to be an incredible week!
Scott
Primiano is named Rough Notes Columnist.
New Rough Notes column will cover agency-company
relationships.
Agent-company relationships will be the focus of a bi-monthly column being introduced in the April issue of Rough Notes. Scott Primiano, president of Polestar Performance Programs, will write the column.
Polestar has 22 consultants, who provide sales, marketing and servicing expertise to more than 60 agents and a number of carriers. It maintains offices in Philadelphia and Chicago.
In the first column, Primiano will discuss the evolution of agent-carrier relationships, and set the stage for the nuts and bolts strategies they will provide over the next few months. Operating from real-world experience, they will guide agents toward productive company relationships.
Among the topics he will address in the months to come are: attracting new carriers; how to conduct joint business planning with carriers; how to get your submissions quoted fairly and in a timely manner; and the advantages and disadvantages of service centers.
