The Polestar Advisory Board unanimously approved the appointment of Jim O'Connor to the position of Chairman. Citing Jim's "long affiliation with Polestar, his tireless advocacy of our programs, and his extensive tenure on the board", Polestar founder Scott M. Primiano nominated O'Connor for the position. After accepting the positioned, O'Connor outlined three initiatives that will shape the Board's involvement for 2007. These include formalizing each member's role in advancing Polestar's national visibility, identification of qualified coaching candidates, and continuing to develop industry affiliations and strategic alliances.
