No manager can be successful at achieving their objectives without ensuring the success of those working with him. To achieve such effectiveness, everyone who works for you and with you must observe you embracing critical behaviors with both arms.  You must walk your talk because actions do indeed speak louder than words.

  • Management style considerations.
  • Delegation and structuring assignments.
  • Making difficult decisions.
  • Analytical approaches and problem solving skills.
  • Risk taking, innovations, and transitions.

Session 3:

Building and Developing People

For the purposes of this program, motivation is the degree of excitement an individual has for personal accomplishment and your agencies success. This motivation appears in varying degrees and is very individualized. It must be addressed and managed accordingly. With an objective to align personal objectives with professional performance benchmarks, we will examine the fundamentals for cultivating success.

  • Coaching, motivating and supporting.
  • Conducting successful one-on-one meetings.
  • Effective communication and listening skills.
  • Dealing with motivational problems.

Session 4:

Team Building

A team is any number of people with different backgrounds, skills, desires, and abilities drawn together to share a specific and defined task. We will examine your ideas regarding teamwork while introducing some new approaches to team leadership. This working session will include key members of each manager’s staff.

  • Conflict management . . . Identification and resolution.
  • Improving interdepartmental communications.
  • Improving interpersonal relationships with peers.
  • Establishing cultural excellence.
