Bob began his insurance career over 25 years ago at the State Farm Insurance Company in New York State, and has been teaching insurance related professional development courses on all facets of risk management and Agency errors & omissions for over 20 years.

Since 1996, Bob has been a licensed Massachusetts insurance broker who maintains a successful consulting practice through the sale of risk management and professional education consulting services.

He is on the teaching faculty for the Insurance Library of Boston, the Academy of Insurance and the CPCU Society, and is the Director of Claims Management and Client Services at Academic Risk Resources in Boston, Massachusetts.

Bob has developed and taught insurance-related professional development courses to agency professionals for over ten years and is a certified Train the Trainers instructor.

Due to his extensive knowledge on a variety of insurance-related topics, and enthusiasm for teaching others, Bob also presents at industry conferences and other professional development functions throughout the country.

He is a 1980 graduate of the University of Massachusetts and has also earned the insurance designations of Associate in Claims, Construction Risk Insurance Specialist and Management Liability Insurance Specialist.

Bob and his wife live near Boston, where he has served for many years as the Chairman of their town’s Personnel Board.
